Adriana Grineberg

Adriana Grineberg is the Regional Director for Facebook in Latin America. She’s responsible for the pan-regional business and the Miami operation of the company. In June of 2011 Adriana joined Facebook in the Brazil office as one of the first employees in the region. With over 15 years of experience in the media and technology business, Adriana helped educate key consumer goods companies in the region on how to better use innovation to improve their performance.
Previous to Facebook, Adriana spent five years at Google as a Business Director in Brazil.
Based in the US (Miami) since June of 2014, Adriana and her team have been influential in supporting large companies such as Procter & Gamble, Unilever, P&G, Coke, AB-Imbev , Netflix and other global corporations on how to leverage media and technology to reach their key consumers.
She graduated with a degree in Advertising and holds an MBA from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.

Alexis de Montaigu

Alexis de Montaigu is the Global Strategy director of McCann XBC. Alexis’ responsibility is to ensure clients receive the best integrated strategic solutions customized to their business needs and challenges across geographies.
Most recently, Alexis was the Head of Strategy at GREY PARIS where he helped create local and regional integrated campaigns for clients like LEGO, HSBC and Volvo. He also held the role of Global Lead Strategist on P&G’s fragrance businesses, developing global integrated strategic processes and toolkits across multiple markets.
Prior to that, Alexis spent 6 years in Singapore at both BBH and TBWA working on Singapore Airlines, Google, Standard Chartered Bank and Adidas.
Alexis actually started his advertising career in NY at TBWA working on the Global Absolut Vodka account. Alexis’s accolades include Effies, Cannes Lions and Spikes Asia Awards. Alexis is also the co-owner of a film production company whose first movie was selected in the most coveted film festivals around the world like the Toronto and Cannes film festival.

Amadeus Stevenson

Amadeus is Chief Technology Officer for Decoded, providing Digital Enlightenment across the globe. A self-taught coder and physical computing nut, he worked for a number of years as a web developer before moving into academia. After completing a Masters degree in Physics at Imperial College London, he obtained a PhD in Biological Physics at the University of Oxford, where he studied the interactions of nanostructures with bacterial cells. Amadeus is passionate about demystifying the wonders of technology from a code, data and security angle.
Amadeus is a thought-leader and frequent speaker at conferences around the world, including the Future of Storytelling Conference, Internet Week, GE Global Leadership Meeting, Social Media Week, SXSW, the Ad Age Data Conference, and more.

Brian is Masabi’s Chief Executive Officer and President. He is focused on accelerating the company’s growth globally, and scaling the team to serve the evolving mobile ticketing market. He is a software industry veteran who brings 20 years of experience in building software-as-a-service businesses to address the global market.
Prior to joining Masabi, Brian was CEO of Awareness, Inc, a provider of social marketing software. Before that he also served as CEO of Kadient and held ‘C’-level positions at a variety of software companies such as SPSS, NetGenesis and eRoom.

Daniel Cohen

Daniel Cohen is Head of Digital Payments and Labs for Mastercard Latin America and Caribbean. In this role, he is responsible for leading the development and commercialization of innovative payment solutions that can be used at the check-out counter, via the web, mobile phone, tablet, and beyond.
Previously, Daniel headed Mastercard’s operations in Israel as Country Manager. He was responsible for opening Mastercard’s first office in the country and expanding the company’s local payments footprint. During his time as Country Manager, he led the commercialization of breakthrough innovative payment solutions in the electronic and mobile commerce space.
Daniel began his career at Mastercard in 2007, leading prepaid card program initiatives across the globe out of the company’s headquarters in Purchase, New York. Prior to joining MasterCard, he was a Strategy Consultant for BTS where he managed corporate strategy projects for Fortune 500 companies.

Ed McLaughlin

David Rich currently heads up global sales and business development for MasterCard Advisors Information Services. In this capacity, he works with major merchants, advertisers, and financial institutions in utilizing consumer purchasing data insights to enhance marketing and overall business performance.
Most recently, David held key roles at Citibank, leading small business banking across the U.S. northeast, and commercial banking across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) while based out of London. David also held several roles in Citibank’s Global Consumer Group, having managed secured and unsecured lending products; client management across consumer finance, cards and retail banking; and Hispanic, on-line and cross sell initiatives.
Prior to working at Citibank, David held a variety of roles in the telecommunications, publishing, trade, and online industries around the world. This included VP, Director and Managing Director positions in sales, marketing, strategy, finance, and product and program management for Telstra Corporation, Bankers Trust, Sears, and VNU Business Publications.
David has a BA in Economics from the University of New South Wales in Sydney Australia, and an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, University of Melbourne. David also attended Officer Training at the Australian Defence Force Academy (Duntroon), in Canberra.

Gary Flood

Gary Flood is president of Global Products and Solutions for Mastercard. In this role, he leads the development of innovative products and services that benefit consumers, issuers, merchants, partners and governments around the world.
Gary has responsibility for Mastercard Processing, Enterprise Safety & Security, Mastercard Digital Payments and Labs, Core Products, Mastercard Advisors, and Worldwide Marketing and Communications. He is also a member of the company’s Management Committee.
Prior to his current position, Gary was executive vice president of Global Account Management for Mastercard. In this capacity, he oversaw all of the company’s efforts to support its largest global customers, including the customer relations staff. His efforts, as well as those of his team, greatly contributed to the company’s significant increases in transaction volume growth.
Previously, Gary was senior vice president of Consumer Card Product Management and Development, where he spent four years directing all Mastercard consumer credit programs in the U.S.

Gilberto Caldart

Gilberto Caldart

Gilberto Caldart is president of Mastercard’s Latin America and Caribbean region. As president, Gilberto is leading efforts that place the company at the forefront of the payments industry in the region, by making electronic payments safe, simple and accessible for banked and unbanked consumers. Gilberto is a member of the Mastercard Operating Committee, and a member ofAdriana the Junior Achievement Americas Board of Directors.
Prior to his current role, Gilberto was president of Mastercard’s GeoSouth Division, which encompassed managing the company’s operations in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Bolivia and Brazil – a top global market for Mastercard. He served as a board member of the Brazilian Credit Card Association (ABECS) during this time.
Before joining Mastercard, Gilberto spent 26 years at Citigroup in various leadership positions in Brazil and New York. Most notably, he led Citi Brazil’s Retail Bank, Consumer Finance and Cards business for over six years. During his time at Citigroup, Gilberto was on the boards of Credicard and Redecard, where he played a critical role in the restructuring of the Credicard Group in Brazil. He was also a member of the Redecard board, where he was involved in the company’s IPO transformation.
Gilberto is a graduate of the Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program. He also has a degree from Duke University – Fuqua School of Business (MBA, Global Management) and the University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Hernando Rubio is passionate about technology and innovation. He works tirelessly in projects that provide access to financial services in an easy, safe and fair way to all Colombians. He has extensive negotiation experience in international markets, investor’s relations, planning and new business development.
Hernando co-founded Soliddan Group, a group that is currently conformed by more than fifteen companies in different sectors of the economy such as telecommunications, hydrocarbons, construction, agricultural industry, software, marketing and distribution, making it a major engine that actively contributes to the growth and economic development of the country.
He is a member of various Board of Directors that include Solidda’s Group companies. Over 15 years ago he founded Movilred, a company created to serve the people at the base of the pyramid. MovilRed provides different services such as cellphone top-ups, money transfer, Non-banking correspondent, Invoice collection, Welfare payments, card reload for the Integrated Public Transportation System of Bogotá SITP and Mobile payments using the network it has consolidated across the country. Movilred serves 18 million people doing more than 40 million transactions per month.
Hernando affirms that the main objective of MovilRed is to build the transactional history of those people excluded from the financial system and to be able to give them easy access to financial and credit services. MovilRed is committed to improving and facilitating the lives of Colombians.

India Wooldridge

India is a founding member of McCann Worldgroup’s thought leadership unit, Truth Central, leading global research studies on topics varying from wellness, to advertising, to retail and, most recently, youth. Each study combines robust data alongside bespoke qualitative methodologies to create a definitive guide designed to help Clients unlock growth for their businesses. She is passionate about bringing research to life in a way that is accessible and interesting to all. Her creative approach has ensured that Truth Central is constantly innovating. She combines traditional research with a multi-discipline approach creating short films, global photographic essays and a conference, to name a few, that elevate the studies to as broad an audience as possible. As a result, the ‘Truth About…’ series has garnered multiple global press and India has been invited to write and speak around her areas of expertise in publications such as MediaPost and Admap as well as presenting at conferences like Mobile Asia Expo and Mobile World Congress.
Before moving to New York from London in 2012, she worked as brand strategist in McCann London. Earlier still, she started her career as an account man and so has had a varied and unique past working on brands as diverse as Barclays, Nestlé, London Evening Standard and MasterCard.

She leads a team of communications professionals across LAC focused on delivering integrated communications solutions that connects Mastercard to consumers, partners, customers, and government. Prior to joining Mastercard in 2002, Janet worked for several global communications agencies on accounts such as Microsoft, Minute Maid Beverages, Lemans Grand Prix Americas and Cirque du Soleil.

Johan Gerber

Johan Gerber is executive vice president of Security and Decision Products for Enterprise Security Solutions at Mastercard, responsible for the development of products like Safety Net, Expert Monitoring Solutions, Mastercard IQ Series, Automatic Billing Updater and In Control. Johan is focused on ensuring Mastercard adapts and supports the growing need for services and emerging payments through fraud risk management, dispute resolutions and real-time decision products.
Prior to his current role, Johan managed a global line of processing and network products and drove the development of secure and innovative payment solutions. Having joined Mastercard in 2000, Johan also manages and participates in several payment industry forums, and serves on the board of directors for Orbiscom.
He holds qualifications in criminal justice and forensic auditing and police administration. Prior to joining Mastercard, he was a member of the South African Police Services for 10 years where he focused on organized crime and special internal investigations related to financial crimes.

His team is responsible for making Spotify available everywhere where music fans want their music available — in the home, autos, consumer applications, and outside the home. Jorge was a key partner to author, Michael Wolf, in publishing the book, The Entertainment Economy: How Mega-Media Forces are Transforming Our Lives.

Jorge Espinel

Jorge Noguera currently serves as head of Mastercard’s Market Development area in Latin America and the Caribbean. In this role, Jorge leads Mastercard’s regional Acceptance and Merchant activities and is focused on managing Mastercard’s business across new segments in the region.
Previous to this, Jorge led the Expert Sales area within Market Development for Mastercard’s Latin America and Caribbean Region where he led Mastercard’s regional sales force.
Jorge has over 24 years of experience in the payments industry, with extensive knowledge of retail banking and card technology as well as a successful track record in developing global channel networks for product distribution.
Before joining Mastercard, Jorge was a partner at the Mattrix Group assisting companies in strategic planning, international business development and resource management. He also held important positions at MPOWER Labs in Austin (Texas), EFD Asia – an e-Funds company he co-founded in 2002 and led since 2005 as its CEO, Oasis Technologies and RED MULTICOLOR Mastercard in Colombia.

Joshua Meier

Jorn Lambert is executive vice president, Digital Channels and Regions at Mastercard. In this role, he is responsible for the relationships with Digital Participants (Mastercard partners in the digital space, including Operating Systems, device manufacturers, telcos, merchant enablers, wallet operators and social networks) as well as the regional teams who deploy Mastercard Emerging Payment products across the world. Previously, he was responsible for the management and development of Emerging Payment Products for European markets, including e-commerce, mobile commerce, person-to-person payments, contactless payments and inControl.
Mr. Lambert joined Mastercard in September of 2002, managing Core Products for Mastercard Europe, including consumer credit, commercial cards, debit and prepaid.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Mr. Lambert spent many years in the capital markets where he occupied various management positions in the areas of product development, product management and corporate strategy.
Mr. Lambert has a degree in Roman Philology at the University of Ghent and La Sapienza in Rome, Italy, and a post-graduate degree in business economics from the University of Leuven in Leuven, Belgium.

Joshua Meier, named one of CNN’s “Eight Whiz Kids who are the Future of Medicine,” is currently studying at Harvard University. His love for computer science, scientific research, and Torah have been fused together and manifested in many ways, Joshua devotedly pursuing each of his passions, creating iPhone software for consumers, physicians at Columbia University, as well as placing in the prestigious Chidon Hatanach.
Embodying the Jew in the City spirit of living the best of both worlds, his achievements involve winning first place and “Best of Category” at the Intel International Science and Engineering Fair in 2014, proposing new theories on stem cell research, and transcribing Rambam’s (Maimonidies) Mishnei Torah into an easy to use, aesthetically pleasing app for smart phones.

Juan Franco was the Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder of Mentez, the largest online gaming publisher in Latin America with 42 million downloads.  Under his leadership, the company became the leader in its space in Brazil.   Mentez was sold to a NYC Private Equity firm in one of the largest transactions in the region.  Later, the founding team, with Juan once again as CEO, launched Paymentez, the monetization leader in Latam for virtual content with a presence in 5 countries and a focus on monetizing marketplace applications.

Ken Moore

Ken has 20+ years’ experience in International Financial Services across retail and corporate banking. Working for some of the world’s leading financial services companies Ken has lived and worked in over 15 countries and held executive leadership roles in Product Management, Technology Delivery, Strategy and Business Development.
In 2016 Ken joined Mastercard as EVP, Head of Mastercard Labs. In this role Ken is responsible for leading Mastercard’s R&D initiatives globally where he will look to further Mastercard’s leadership in innovation, monetize its innovation capabilities and leverage them to win core business and to drive new product development activities.
Prior to joining Mastercard, Ken was a Director at Citibank, where he established Citi’s First Innovation Lab and subsequently rolled this model out globally to create a network of collaborative innovation centers across Citibank.

Luis Arceo leads iZettle Mexico as Country Manager. He is responsible for meeting the needs of the whole Mexican market, with special emphasis on SME and Micro-SME sector entrepreneurs. Luis also leads the company’s strategic alliances, which provides users with access to mobile card acceptance and financial inclusion.
Before joining iZettle, Luis worked at Visa Inc. for over a decade, where his responsibilities included leading the development of acceptance in the market and strengthening the relationship of the company with Mexican businesses and key stakeholders in the payment ecosystem. His wide knowledge and experience in the payment industry make him not only a broadly certified executive on different commercial areas, but an expert on habits and consumer payment dynamics in Mexico.

Luis Von Ahn

Luis von Ahn is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Duolingo, the most downloaded education app on iTunes and Google Play worldwide with 150 million users. He is widely recognized for having invented CAPTCHAs, receiving the prestigious MacArthur “Genius” Grant, giving popular TED talks and selling 2 companies to Google in his 20s. Luis is also a computer science professor at Carnegie Mellon University.
Luis has been named one of the 10 Most Brilliant Scientists by Popular Science Magazine, one of the 50 Best Brains in Science by Discovery, and one of the 100 Most Innovative People in Business by FastCompany Magazine.

Mauricio Comi

Mauricio Bouskela is a Senior Specialist in the Housing and Urban Development Division at the Inter-American Development Bank. Since he joined the IDB in 2008, Mauricio has been leading multiple cross sectorial projects in the Latin America and Caribbean Region (LAC) that leverage innovative technologies for social and economic development. Mauricio has over thirty years of successful working experience, including eleven years working for Intel Corporation as Director for Latin America and eight years for the IDB. At the IDB he has worked in projects in 18 countries in the region. Since 2011 Mauricio has been leading Smart City projects aimed at transforming LAC cities into Smart Cities. Recently he led the development of the “International Case Studies of Smart Cities” and the publication “The Road Toward Smart Cities” (www.iadb.org/SmartCities) . At Intel, Mauricio earned four times the “Intel Top Achievers Intel” and one “Intel Achievement Award”, and at the IDB he won the prizes of the “Most Innovative Team Award” and “Start Up Weekend”. Mauricio has a degree in Computer Science from the University of Campinas (Unicamp), a postgraduate degree in Marketing from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an MBA in Finance from the Brazilian Institute of Capital Markets (IBMEC).

Michael Norton

Michael holds a B.A. in Psychology and English from Williams College and a Ph.D. in Psychology from Princeton University. Prior to joining HBS, Professor Norton was a Fellow at the MIT Media Lab and MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
He is the co-author – with Elizabeth Dunn – of the book, Happy Money: The Science of Happier Spending. In 2012, he was selected for Wired Magazine’s Smart List as one of “50 People Who Will Change the World” and his TEDx talk, How to Buy Happiness, has been viewed more than 3 million times.

Miriam Olivera is group executive for Global Products and Solutions at Mastercard Latin America and the Caribbean. In this role, she leads the development of innovative products and services that provide compelling and differentiated value to consumers, issuers, merchants, partners and governments.
Previously, Miriam was the head of Core Products for Mastercard Latin America and the Caribbean, where she managed Mastercard’s credit, debit, commercial and loyalty businesses.
Before joining Mastercard, Miriam worked at the Estee Lauder Companies in New York as regional vice president for Clinique and a member of the company’s Latin America Leadership team where she successfully led profitable market share growth while building brand equity. Prior to that role, she worked at Citi and Procter & Gamble, based in New York and Sao Paulo.
Her experience spans across diverse industries – consumer packaged goods, financial services, and beauty – and includes successfully leading marketing, product and sales teams to drive upmost business growth.

Previously, Nadine headed Advanced Analytics in Latin America. Before joining Mastercard, Nadine was the Principal of Banyan Strategy, where she designed and implemented information capabilities for large corporates and start-ups. Previous to that, Nadine was with American Express as Head of Global Merchant Analytics Products, Head of Merchant Marketing and Analytics in Asia and other roles in Issuer analytics in Latin America.

Ricardo is one of the leaders and pioneers of the Internet industry in Colombia. He managed the New Media and Classified Ads Department in Casa Editorial El Tiempo for more than 13 years. In collaboration with a visionary leader and an interdisciplinary staff, he created 18 Internet web sites, a profitable business unit, and he succeeded in positioning Casa Editorial El Tiempo as the leading company in Colombia’s digital market.
He is the CEO of PLATAFOR.MA, that defines itself: not as an incubator, nor an accelerator, nor a VC, we just love the internet and enjoy building stuff. Scott Emmons is Head of the Innovation Lab and Enterprise Architect at Neiman Marcus, where he is focused on IS innovation for the Neiman Marcus Group (NMG). He built the NMG innovation lab (iLab) and is responsible for leading the organization in evaluating, designing, testing and piloting cutting-edge technologies and applications for luxury retail. Recent projects include the amazing Memory Mirror, 4K touch table look books, beacon enabled holiday passes, intelligent mobile phone charging stations and digital directories for Bergdorf Goodman. Scott is also working on BYOD initiatives, Wi-Fi/LAN/WAN infrastructure, mobility and digital signage initiatives. Between January 2002 and November 2013, Steve Sadove held positions of increasing responsibility with Saks Incorporated. In January 2002, Steve joined the management team of Saks as Vice Chairman. In March 2004 he assumed the additional post of Chief Operating Officer of the Company and in January 2006 he assumed the position of Chief Executive Officer. He held the post of Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Saks between May 2007 and November 2013. In November 2013, Saks Incorporated was sold to Hudson’s Bay Company for a price of $16 per share in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $2.9 billion.
Prior to joining Saks, Steve built a distinguished marketing and consumer products career spanning over 25 years. Between 1975 and 1991, Steve held various positions of increasing responsibility with General Foods USA, including Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Desserts Division.
Steve joined Bristol-Myers Squibb Company in 1991 as President of Clairol. In 1994, he was appointed President Worldwide Clairol, having direct responsibility for the Clairol business in the United State as well as all of the consumer businesses in Canada, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America. In 1996, he was appointed to the post of President, Bristol-Myers Squibb Worldwide Beauty Care, with responsibility for Clairol Worldwide and Matrix Essentials. In 1997, he was appointed President, Bristol-Myers Squibb Worldwide Beauty Care and Nutritionals, adding Mead Johnson Nutritionals to his duties.
During his tenue at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Steve led Clairol to become the number one hair care business in the United States, relaunched the Herbal Essences brand into a $700 million business, and completed the sale of the beauty care business to Proctor & Gamble for approximately $5 billion.
Steve is a graduate of Hamilton College and holds an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School. He is also a recipient of an Honorary Doctor of Commercial Science Degree from LIM College. He currently is actively involved as a founding partner of JW Levin Partners, a private equity and advisory firm. He also serves on numerous community and civic boards including Hamilton College as Chairman of the Board of Trustees, AmeriCares and the National Retail Federation, as well as the public company boards of Colgate-Palmolive, Aramark and Ruby Tuesday.
